On the 1st Day, of 4th Test of Ashes Series at Old Trafford, Australia has won the toss against home side England and elected to Bat First.
and things went wrong for Australia at the beginning itself as they have lost their Star Batsman and Opener David Warner for a Duck, considering his wicket to the Stuart Broad on the second ball he has faced.
In the seventh over Stuart Broad once again stuck another wicket by dismissing Marcus Harris for an LBW and the crowd excitement at the Old Trafford just went to the peaks as they know it is Steve Smith who is coming out next.
Fans were eager to witness the Battle between Jofra Archer and Steve Smith after the Lord’s Test once again. but Steve Smith played like lord’s incident as never occurred he kept challenging the England Bowlers with his Bat and also made a half-century.
On the fourth ball of the 29th over, just as Archer is going to deliver the ball, wild winds started blowing in the ground, and that resulted in a beach ball finding its way into the Ground and soon went into the pitch at Strikers end where Steve Smith was batting.
Soon, the winds took the beach ball to the pitch, specifically near the strikers’ end, where Smith was standing. Seeing this, the
Aussie decided to have some fun and as the ball approached him, he swept the Beach ball towards the mid-wicket boundary, making the crowd go wild in the process.
one of the famous and most used Cricket Cliche is “He is seeing the ball like a beach ball right now” it is used when an in-form batsman is batting well and today Steve Smith proved it completely right has he hit the beach ball to the boundary.
