Cricket is a Gentleman’s game and the athletes who participate in this beautiful game has some sort of spirit which can’t be found in any other sport, recently in South African T20 edition, Mzansi Super League’s match between Paarl Rocks and Nelson Mandela Bay Giants at Paarl has seen one of the greatest sportsmanship moment.

Sri Lankan all-rounder, Isuru Udana who is playing for Paarl Rocks in this league has come to bowl the 19th over of the second innings at do and die situation. and it happened on the penultimate delivery of this over when Nelson Mandela Bay Giants batsman Heino Kuhn has struck the ball down the ground and it has hit the non-striker batsman Marco Marais.

Soon after the ball hit the Marco Marais the ball reached Isuru Udana has it lobbed and the Marco Marais who is been hit hard by the ball started to struggle, Udana at this point has a very dominant chance of running him out.

But he has choose not to run-out the Marco Marais and after that Marco Marais has reached the non-striker end. this incident has brought a lot of appreciation from all over the social media to Isuru Udana for his sportsmanship spirit.

As far as the match is concerned, Paarl Rocks have won the match by 12 runs has the Giants failed to reach the target off 169 runs set by the home side and Tabraiz Shamsi is awarded the man of the match award for taking two wickets.
