India has lost the first match of the ODI series with West Indies at Chennai, but Indian batsman has come strong and performed very well in the second ODI at Visakhapatnam by posting a massive target of 388 runs for the West Indies in given 50 overs.
Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul has performed exceptionally well and gave a excellent start to Team India by posting a 227 runs partnership for the first wicket, until KL Rahul got dismissed on the last ball of the 37th over in Sheldon Cottrell bowling, KL Rahul has ended up scoring 102 runs off 104 balls.
During their Partnership, came Jason Holder to bowl the 36th over of innings and the last ball of this over was bowled outside the off-stump, and Rohit Sharma has played a shot in this ball which made the crowd go ballistic.
Rohit has hit over the cover region with his body and balance going towards his leg side. While he ended up falling down on the ground, it didn’t hamper his timing and he managed to get a monster six.
Rohit Sharma has ended up scoring 159 runs of 138 balls which includes 17 fours and 5 sixes with a strike rate of 115.22 and Sheldon Cottrell has taken the wicket of Hitman in the 3rd ball of 44th over.
