WATCH: Matt Renshaw and Tom Banton performs a blinder in the BBL to dismiss Matthew Wade


Brisbane Heat won the 29th match of the ongoing Big Bash League season by 5 wickets against the Hobart Hurricanes at their home ground The Gabba.

After winning the toss Hurricanes captain Matthew Wade decided to bat first and posted a target of 127 runs in the given 20 overs by losing 9 wickets.

Captain and Wicket-keeper Matthew Wade ended up scoring highest runs in the match for the Hurricanes, Wade scored 61 runs off 46 balls which included 3 fours and 2 sixes with a strike rate of 132.61

But the way Matthew Wade dismissed was unthinkable and brought criticism and also applause for the cricket rules, it happened in the Ben Cutting bowling on the penultimate delivery of the 15th over.

Wade has hit the short length delivery towards the long-on where the Matt Renshaw was fielding and he grabbed the ball in his hands and when he noticed he lost his momentum and going into the boundary he threw the ball into the air.

When he was outside the boundary he jumped into the air and tapped the ball into the air towards the Tom Banton making the ball not to land outside the boundary. watch the video below.

Concerning the match, Heats lost 5 wickets in the first 11 overs of the innings even Captain Chris Lynn departed after scoring 9 runs off 13 balls. but Ben Cutting saved them by playing an excellent knock.
