Australian Cricketer, Marnus Labuschagne who is currently playing the in the Sheffield Shield for Queensland sparked a heated debate on Social Media because of his uncertain catch against New South Wales(NSW).
The catch was taken by Labuschagne on the end of NSW first innings when he caught NSW wicket-keeper Baxter Holt in the Mitchell Swepson bowling.
After grabbing the ball into his hands, Labuschagne was seen uncontrolled and had thrown the ball when he slightly regained his balance from his right hand.
According to the laws of Cricket, “The act of making a catch … shall end when a fielder obtains complete control over both the ball and his/her own movement.”

This catch wasn’t even protested by the Batsman, Baxter Holt and the on-field umpire was in favor of Queensland.
