After getting WhiteWashed by India on the Home soil in T20I Series, Kiwis have given a tough fight to India in the First ODI Match of the series and won the match by 4 wickets and with 11 balls to spare.

Before the match, there is great pressure on New Zealand as the skipper Kane Williamson is not in the squad that too after getting whitewashed in T20I Series but Kiwis have performed exceptionally well in the Batting and won the match.

After winning the toss, New Zealand chose to bowl first, and India has posted a massive target of 348 runs in front of them. Indian Batsman ended up scoring 347 runs off 50 overs by losing 4 wickets.

Shreyas Iyer has scored his maiden ODI century and ended up scoring 103 runs off 107 balls with a strike rate of 96.25 and his innings included 11 fours and 1 six. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul are the other two batsmen who performed well and scored half-centuries in the match.

KL Rahul has scored 88 runs off 64 balls which included 3 fours and 6 sixes, on the fifth ball of the penultimate over KL Rahul has hit a massive reverse scoop shot in the James Neesham bowing.
