WATCH: George Bailey gets out for Duck in his last first class innings


During the third day of the 18th match of the ongoing season of the Marsh Shield between Tasmania and South Australia in Hobart, veteran Tasmania batsman George Bailey got dismissed on the first delivery in his last First-class innings.

It all happened on the last ball of the 22nd over when George Bailey shouldered arms to South Australian bowler Wes Agar. and the ball coming onto the right-hand batsman after pitching, finally the ball has ended up hitting the stumps and ended the 15-year old first class career of George Bailey.

In the first innings of this match, coming to bat at No. 4 in the 33rd over in the first innings, Bailey scored 7 runs off 12 balls with the help of one four before getting out to Chadd Sayers.

In this Marsh Cup season, Bailey has played five matches and made with an average and strike rate of 23.12 and 51.10, he has also got a half-century in an innings. George Bailey has ended his first-class career by scoring zero in his last innings, also he is selected for the National ODI’s Team.
