Sydney Thunders won the 42nd match of the ongoing Big Bash League with 4 runs(DLS METHOD) against the same city team Sydney Sixers, The match was reduced to 16 overs per side but it went onto being DLS Method at the end because of the weather.
After winning the toss Thunders choose to Field first, and Chris Morris who has come to bowl the first over of the match has blown the wicket in the first over but not with his bowling skills, but with his fielding efforts.
It happened on the penultimate delivery of the first over when Morris bowled a wide delivery, which Hughes failed to middle the ball and Morris who has all his eyes on the ball ran towards the offside of the batsman towards the ball when Hughes is sneaking for a run.
Then Chris Morris has done excellent footwork to dismiss Daniel Hughes, Morris has kicked the ball to the wickets when Batsman is coming back to the crease after understanding and it worked out for the Chris Morris and Daniel Hughes lost his wicket.
Daniel Hughes ended up scoring 0 runs off 4 balls he played and Chris Morris is also awarded the man of the match award for his exceptional bowling figures in the match.
Chris Morris has bowled 3.5 overs in which he has picked 2 wickets by conceding 12 runs with an economy rate of 3.13, he has taken the important wicket of the Sydney Sixers by dismissing Skipper Moises Henriques and other wicket is of Jackson Bird.
