The 16th match of the ongoing BBL Season between Melbourne Stars and Hobart Hurricanes didn’t go well as the match kept on pausing because of the bad weather conditions at the University of Tasmania Stadium.

So the umpires reduced the overs and give 11 overs per side and after winning the toss Melbourne Stars has decided to ball first and Hobart Hurricanes posted a total of 69 runs by losing 5 wickets in the given 11 overs.

It all happened on the 4th ball of the fourth over when Riley Meredith was bowling, the ball has hit the Marcus Stoinis on his face and that made, Stoinis to collapse on the pitch. his helmet gear has saved him from a major injury.

and it is made clear that Riley Meredith didn’t bowl the delivery to collapse the batsman purposefully after the Marcus Stoinis has fallen on the ground all the fielders around him, including the non-striker batsman Handscomb came near Marcus Stoinis.

After that, It is made clear that Stoinis will continue to play the match and rest of the BBL season and there is not any big problem.

Though he continued the innings after a few deliveries once again in the 8th over when Riley Meredith came to bowl he has lost his wicket in the second ball of that over by trying to play a mistimed shot which ended up in the hands of David Miller.

Marcus Stoinis has ended up scoring 25 runs off 19 balls which includes 3 fours with a strike rate of 131.58, considering the match Stars have lost the match to Hurricanes by 4 runs(DLS Method)
