The First T20I match between India and South Africa has been washed out without a ball being bowled due to rainstorm at Dharmasala and all the eyes shifted to the second T2OI at Mohali.
Team India and South Africa have been given security from the airport by the Mohali police. But they did it until the territory of Chandigarh police started.
The reason for the denial of security has been cited that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not deposited a fee of Rs 9 crore to Chandigarh police, forcing the latter to deny security cover.
However, Both teams have reached their hotels successfully and private security arrangements have been provided to them with the help of local security agencies.
