Ravichandran Ashwin responds to Sourav Ganguly’s Tweet of him going unnoticed

Ravichandran Ashwin became the highest wicket-taker of the decade by picking 564 wickets across all international formats from 2010=2019, but this veteran cricketer has not got much attention despite leading the chart of the decade.

In 227 international appearances across formats in this decade, the 33-year old player dismissed 564 batsmen at an average of 27.15, an economy rate of 3.47 and a strike rate of 46.9 including 27 five-wicket hauls and seven 10-wicket hauls.

It is worth mentioning that he has achieved this feat despite not playing limited-overs cricket for almost to and half years, this says how dominant Ashwin has been in this decade. he has received good competition from England pace duo James Anderson and Stuart Broad, and New Zealand pace duo Tim Southee and Trent boul.

But they’ve ended up in the next 4 positions of the top five wicket-takers in this decade across all the formats. after the announcement BCCI President who felt the same like many, that Ashwin is going unnoticed despite his excellent performance, came up with a Tweet on his official Twitter handle.

“Most international wickets for ashwin this decade.. what an effort .. just get a Feeling it goes unnoticed at times .. super stuff ..,” said the Tweet

Sourav Ganguly Tweet:

for this Tweet, Ashwin replied by saying “Thank you so much dada.”
