New Zealand star batsman and skipper Kane Williamson is rested for the 3 Twenty20 International matches that are to be played against Sri Lanka from September 1, 2019, to September 6, 2019. also, another star bowler Trent Boult has been rested for this series.

Selector Gavin Larsen said, “Kane and Trent played an enormous role in our recent World Cup campaign and with a big summer ahead, we see it as a good opportunity to give them a rest.”
