Australian All-rounder Shane Watson is the last cricketer to retire from International Cricket who experienced the golden age of Australian Cricket in the 2000s and he also played a match-winning knock for Chennai Super Kings in 2019 IPL finals despite blood bleeding from his Knees but luck ended up on another side in final.
Recently he also said goodbye to his BBL Franchise Sydney Thunders, but this Aussie all-rounder Form is still in the peaks and that is once again proven yesterday with the match against Kings XI Punjab.
Watson played a wonderful knock, he scored 83 runs of 53 balls with a strike rate of 156.6 while chasing the behemoth target of 179 set by KXIP.
His innings included 11 fours and 3 sixes, his opening partner Faf Du Plessis on the other hand scored 87 of 53 balls with a strike rate of 164.15 which included 11 fours and a six.
This excellent opening partnership helped the team to chase the target just in 17.4 overs and possibly this would be one the best opening partnerships ever in the IPL
Before this match, CSK was on a 3 match loss streak and was unable to win the matches, but after the yesterday’s game, Super Kings sent a strong message to the other teams that they aren’t not yet done in the league and increased their net run rate.
But, Shane Watson just predicted their victory before the match in his Tweet and said that the best victory of the CSK is to come.
“The Perfect Game for @chennaiipl is coming!!!” Wrote Shane Watson
Tweet of Shane Watson:
Previously, Jofra Archer is very well known for his future predictions tweets and maybe Shane Watson is going to join him.
