India started the second test very well, India declared innings after posting a massive 601/5 on the board with Captain Virat Kohli smashing 254 off 336 balls and remained not out in the first innings and declared the innings after Jadeja missed his century 9 runs.
In the first innings, other top performing batsman includes opener Mayank Agarwal scored 108 off 115 balls and Ajinkya Rahane scored 59 off 168 balls.
During the third day there happened a funny incident, umpire Nigel Llong has delayed the decision to dismiss South African all-rounder Senuran Muthusamy in the Ravindra Jadeja Bowling.
it happened on the second delivery of the 45th over when Ravindra Jadeja was bowling to Senuran Muthusamy. the ball which went into the batsman has stuck on the pads.
Immediately Indian fielders started appealing to umpire for an LBW but umpire Nigel Llong stayed calm until the fielders stopped appealing, for a surprise then Nigel Llong raised his finger, which made Muthusamy walk back to the Pavillion. He has scored 7 off 20 balls.
Considering the delay in the decision of the umpire and the manner in which he was given out, Muthusamy discussed with captain Faf du Plessis to opt for a review. but, review went in the favor of India has replays confirmed that the ball would have gone on to hit the stumps.

Take a bow Nigel Llong.
Given the muted appeal, nobody would have given that out.
What a brave call. 👏👏👏#INDvsSA
