Ambati Rayudu has been in headlines from the 2019 summer as he isn’t selected for the ICC Cricket World Cup after performing exceptionally well in the Indian Premier League 2019.
Later, came into the headlines by his 3d Glass Tweet, which has gone insanely viral on social media and followed by his retirement from all forms of International Cricket.
However, this Wicket-keeper Batsman reconsidered his decision to come out of retirement. The right-hand batsman has been named as the captain of Hyderabad for the imminent Vijay Hazare Trophy. Currently, with Chennai Super Kings, Rayudu will also play in IPL 2020.
Having turned 34 years old today, Rayudu has been receiving birthday wishes from both cricketers and fans since morning. Among one of those birthday wishes was from veteran India spinner Harbhajan Singh who referred to Rayudu as an “angry young man”.
Harbhajan and Rayudu share some history together as they were involved in an on-field brawl when they were playing for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2016 against Rising Pune Supergiants. It had happened after Harbhajan was unhappy with Rayudu’s fielding effort at the boundary which saw the former concede a boundary.
On Rayudu’s Birthday occasion, Bhajji wrote on Twitter “Happy birthday angry young man @RayuduAmbati have a great year ahead.. god bless”
