BCCI: Sourav Ganguly declares his first priority of work has president


Sourav Ganguly is a saviour of Indian Cricketer he is very well known to the world to take challenges and previously he took charge has the captain of Indian Cricket Team when Mohammed Azharuddin is running in the Match Fixing scandals and successfully lead team India.

He has got in many key players into the Indian Squad that we’ve seen in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, in which India won list also includes Captain MS DHONI, HARBHAJAN SINGH, ZAHEER KHAN, GAUTAM GAMBHIR, YUVRAJ SINGH and many more.

With that said, media reports say that Sourav Ganguly is likely to be elected as the BCCI president unopposed in elections which is going to take place on 23rd October.

In an interaction with Indian Today, Ganguly has said that his first priority as the President of BCCI will be to look after first-class cricketers and their financial interest.

“That’s the rule. So we will have to deal with it. My first priority will be to look after first-class cricketers. I had requested to the CoA and they have not listened. Ranji Trophy cricket will be the focus. To take care of cricketers’ financial interest,”

“I am happy with the appointment because this is the time when BCCI’s image has got hampered and it’s a great opportunity for me to do something. Whether you are elected unopposed or otherwise, it’s a big responsibility because it is the biggest organization in the world of cricket. India is a powerhouse. It will be a challenge,” Said Ganguly to India Today

For now, everyone is eager to watch this former captain has BCCI President and watch what sort of decisions he is going to take for the development of Indian Cricket.
