Cricket today is a Religion in India. It’s a thread that unites Indians like nothing else in today’s world. However, it didn’t attain this status in a day, it was a long journey to this point. A lot of ups and downs in the journey.
Playing at the national level for a cricket crazy country brings cricketers a lot of fame and money, here is the list of salaries of Indian Cricketers according to their annual contract.
BCCI Central contracts are classified into four types they are Grade A+, Grade A, Grade B and Grade C. with Grade A+ being the top-level contract and the Grade C being the low-level contract.
Grade A+ cricketers are offered 7 crores, Grade A cricketers are offered 5 crores, Grade B cricketers are offered 3 crores and Grade C cricketers are offered 1 crore.
The Total number of cricketers in the BCCI Contract is 27, in which Grade A+ has 3 cricketers, Grade A has 11 cricketers, Grade B has 5 cricketers, Grade C has 8 cricketers.
Grade A+ Cricketers List(7 Crores): Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah.

Though the list looks great but one big flaw in the contract list is the Former Indian Captain and World Cup Winner MS Dhoni is not in the BCCI Contract, this made the fans troll BCCI on the social media channels.
MS Dhoni has won 50 overs and 20 overs World Cups for India, along with the 2013 Champions trophy. Dhoni has played 350 ODIs in which he scored 10,773 runs at an average of 50.57.
Look how the fans reacted to the exclusion of Dhoni’s name from the contract on Twitter below.
Twitter Reactions:
So, its END OF AN ERA …
Dhoni dropped from BCCI Central Contract players list …
Set one game in Ranchi or in Vizag, where he made 145 to become International Star as his last ODI and send him off #ThankYouDhoni 😔😔😓

#MSDhoni is left out of the BCCI’s central contract list. It’s over for former Indian captain.
Is it end of his career or something is still left in the script? I don’t think so.

How does one read M S Dhoni not getting a central contract? The BCCI giving him a clear signal, or mutually reached understanding? Remember, Dhoni hasn't retired and will play the IPL. Consider also he he hasn't stepped on to a cricket field since the 50-overs World Cup
