BBL 2020: WATCH Jason Holder finishes the match in last over against Renegades


Sydney Sixers were on the second spot in the points table in the ongoing BBL 2020 before the match against Melbourne Renegades.

Sixers entered the match Eyeing for the First Spot in the points table and they’ve got a disastrous start has the Renegades openers Aaron Finch and Shaun Marsh secured a good partnership of 50+ for the first wicket.

But Renegade players failed in utilizing the good opening partnership set by Finch & Marsh has the middle and lower order collapsed.

Shaun Marsh scored 67 of 48 balls and captain Aaron Finch scored 39 of 32 balls. In the end, Mohammed Nabi scored 18 of 11 deliveries by hitting two sixes which helped Renegades to set a target of 169 in front of sixers.

Sixers got a good opening partnership of 53 runs and while chasing the target Sixers lost 8 wickets by 19th over and Sixers needed 14 runs off 4 balls in the last over, Jason Holder was on strike.

Sutherland was bowling the final over of the match and Holder managed to hit a couple of Fours and a sixer in the last 4 balls to win the match for the sixers.

Jason holder is awarded man of the match for his excellent innings of 33 runs from 18 balls which included 3 fours and 2 sixes with a strike rate of 183.33

Sydney Sixers finally managed to take the number one spot on the points table as they’ve won the match pushing Sydney Thunder to the second position. Renegades is on the 7th positions in the points table.
