BBL 2020-21 | Yuvraj Singh looking to play in BBL, confirms his manager

Indian Legendary Cricketer, Yuvraj Singh who retired from international cricket during the 2019 Cricket World Cup has already played in the GT20 Cricket league of Canada representing Toronto Nationals and in the T10 League representing Maratha Arabians

According to the latest reports from the Australian Publication The Age , Yuvraj Singh Manager, Jason Warne of W Sports & Media confirmed that Yuvraj Singh is actively looking for an opportunity to play in the Big Bash League and is working closely with Cricket Australia to find a club for the Former Indian Cricketer.

“We’re working with CA to try to find him a home,” Warne said on Monday to The Age.

BCCI not allowing Indian Players to play in the foreign leagues until their retirement is changing the stakes day by day, has retired cricketers like Yuvraj Singh and Pravin Tambe started to play in the foreign leagues.

Also, many International cricketers suggested that BCCI should open the window for Indian players to play in the foreign leagues numerous times in the past. Recently, Shane Watson said “There is a chance but no Indian players have been able to be released in the past to come and play at the [other] T20 tournaments so that’s a big hurdle,”

“It would be incredible for them to be able to play in these tournaments. That is the ideal situation. There are so many world-class T20 players in India that aren’t playing for India that could be potentially available to play in the Big Bash and other tournaments around the world. If that’s able to happen, that would make a massive difference.” added Watson to his statement when speaking to The Age from Dubai.

Yuvraj Singh who played his last International Cricket match back in 2017 and is out of form is not likely to find a team in present scenario, But If he is finds a place for himself in Big Bash, he will become the first ever Indian cricketer to play in the BBL.
