During the 30th match of the ongoing ninth season of the Big Bash League between Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars at the Marvel Stadium, Stars won the match by 7 wickets and with 8 balls to spare.

After winning the toss Melbourne Stars Choose to bowl and Stars Captain, Glenn Maxwell is awarded the man of the match for his valuable knock of 83 runs off 45 balls which includes 7 massive sixes and a four with a strike rate of 184.44.

Stars chased down the target of 169 runs given by renegades in the 19th over with 7 wickets left and this is the second match between these teams in the season and Renegades lost both the matches to the Stars in the season.

During the first innings when Shaun Marsh is batting an interesting moment that took place in the match is Marsh bat was broken into two pieces it happened on the last ball of the fourth over when Marsh drove a Lance Morris delivery towards cover.

The Bat has broken into two pieces and immediately Marsh signaled towards the dressing room for the replacement of the bat, after the delivery, Lance Morris made it clear to everyone why he is a special bowler and earned the nickname “Wild Thing”.

Though Lance Morris has not picked any wickets in this match his bowling speed is amazing, regarding his stats in the match, Morris has bowled 3 overs and conceded 33 runs with an 11.00 economy rate and no wickets.

Also, Shaun Marsh scored his 46th T20 half-century and played a vital role in Renegades scoring 168/7 in 20 overs in the match and ended up in the 14th over of the innings when Sandeep Lamichane came to bowling.
